Questions about 3N8 aluminium

What does 3N8 mean at HUABO?

In HUABO’s range, 3N8 specifies at least 99.98 wt.% aluminium. The published typical Al value is 99.9847%. Acceptance depends on the agreed limits and the CoA for the actual delivery batch.

Is 8–20 kg the minimum order quantity?

No. 8–20 kg is the weight of an individual standard ingot. State total quantity and, where relevant, piece count separately. MOQ, availability and lead time are confirmed after RFQ review.

Does the published Cu value of 0 guarantee copper-free material?

No. The value 0 is reproduced from the typical website table. Without the test method, reporting limit and reporting convention it does not establish guaranteed absence. Agree any required Cu maximum and test basis in advance.

How do I obtain a 3N8 price?

Send minimum Al, critical element limits, form, total quantity, application, documents, destination and target date. HUABO does not publish a blanket price per kg; technical and commercial scope is reviewed before quotation.

Can I use 3N8 instead of 4N?

Not on the N-grade alone. The 3N8 minimum of 99.98% does not by itself meet a requirement of at least 99.99%. An alternative specification needs technical review and explicit agreement.
